Okay so if you have been reading my blog for the past couple of months you know I have had some serious stomach issue's because of this pregnancy. Well, the last two weeks have been really rough and every night I have gone to bed early because my stomach hurts so badly. It takes me a while to fall asleep but by morning things have calmed down and I feel okay. So the question is why am I still feeling this way. I have removed gluten from my diet which has helped a lot but not completely. It is discouraging to feel sick each and every night. I have a friend who has major stomach issue's and I can now finally understand why she would go to bed early. You just want the discomfort to end. It was great because she happened to call me yesterday and I was encouraged to talk to someone who understood. It is hard to understand how emotionally exhausting it is to have food issue's. You have to plan out everything and read labels like crazy. Being away from home is a lot of work and you really have to think out your meals.
I have talked to my chiropractor who also functions like a nutritionalist and he muscle tested me for other food allergies. He has suggested I stay away from corn and avocados. Looking back over the past month or so I can say that after eating things that have corn in them I did not feel great and felt very perplexed as to why.
Last night was a very bad night where I got really dizzy before we ate and only made it through about 1/2 of dinner before needing to stretch out on the couch. I even felt like my nausea was aggravated all the more by how much my little girl was moving around inside. Lately, I have felt like she is doing kick boxing in there.
So all this to say my Chiro is now suggesting I try to go for a couple of days and just only eat:
Unlimited meat- all kinds
Unlimited Fruit and veggies
For starch - potato or yam.
Salt for seasoning.
Lastly he said to make sure to eat a lot of food and do not avoid fatty meats
Lastly, everyone always has their suggestions and I appreciate them but I only have so much money. It is expensive to try what this person thinks will make you feel better or what that person did. Maybe a liquid vitamin would help but $60.00 a month to try something is a lot of money. Just eating this way alone is super expensive. This baby is 100% worth it but I just needed to write about my frustration.
