I thought it would be fun to show you all some pictures of the first two months of Zachary's life and then one current pic. Can you tell I am a proud Auntie? Most of you are probably unaware that when he was born he weighed in at 12lbs and 11 oz! People try and tell me they have big babies and I think to myself you have no idea. My sisters only comment is "thank God for c-section." Most people wonder if my sister had gestational diabetes but she didn't. We think it is all linked to the fact that both of Zachary's grandfathers are 6'4".

Our House

Per Jen's request: So this is a picture of our home in Vista that we bought almost two years ago. I dont' have any current pictures of the inside. We love our home and feel blessed to be able to own a home in Southern California. It has three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. We did a ton of work on it before we moved it like removing some walls, completely remodeling the kitchen and so forth. Two of the best features of this home is that the master bedroom is downstairs and it has a nice size bonus room. WE ARE BLESSED!

2008

I am excited to be starting a new year. I think this year is going to full of great things. I have decided to have a positive outlook for 2008. At times I find myself looking at what I don't have versus what I have. Not that I am constantly negative but I have my rough days. Days where I wonder why did we buy this house? Why is it that I work full-time when my hearts desire is to be a mom? Once again why did we buy this house? Will it ever happen that I will be able to raise my own kids and have enough money to care for them and see them grow up? Thoughts like these seem to plague my mind and I am done. I don't want to walk down that road any longer! 2008 is going to be a very successful year. I am listening to a book on CD called "When You Can Walk on Water, Why Take the Boat" by Lisa Diane. It's an interesting approach to goal setting and pursing your dreams.
