Some New Pics

It has been way too long since I last blogged. Life is starting to really look up. Gianna is doing so much better... All that soy formula has finally processed through her system and she is much happier. She is no longer in constant pain from gas and she is also not blowing us out with her stinky toots. I know it sounds funny but when she had her first breast milk poop we were so happy. Before her poop was like clay so to see a good healthly poop made us so happy. Since that time she has been doing 10 times better... she has her fussy periods but no longer does she cry out in pain. I am pumping and feeding her about 6oz of formula a day. Here are some new pictures of her...she is starting to smile but I have yet to capture a good picture. Thank you all for your encouraging comments on my last post it really means more than you will ever know.

PS I now understand what other people meant when they blogged about how bumming it was to still be in maternity clothes. I so wish I could wear my regular clothes again.

Julie, I'm so glad things are starting to look up. I love that middle picture you posted of your little girl. 5 weeks to go for me. Can't wait to experience the ups and downs of motherhood, and to sleep on my stomach again. :-)

Gianna is too cute. I am impressed that you were able to find some cute girl clothes that aren't drenched in pink or purple! You're a Mommy Pro already. :)

Yeah! I love when you can start to see sunlight through the clouds! :o) She is beautiful Julie! :o) And you will be out of those maternity clothes in no time...but then you will find yourself missing the elastic waist pants that come down so easily when you have to go to the bathroom! :o) I miss those days. It makes me want to go put some sweats on!

:o)

What a doll she is! And I'm telling you, it just continues to get a little better each day. It's never going to be EASY, but it gets easIER. :) Find things/ways to rejuvenate yourself, whether that is blogging, time alone, time with your hubby, a mocha, a magazine...anything that lifts your spirits will make you a better mom.

YAY Julie! I'm so glad things are going so well ... it is a steep learning curve, but in ways that can't fully be explained or understood until they just happen. You are doing a fabulous job of trusting your mommy instincts, and most of all, of just LOVE love loving your sweet Gianna! That's most important of all!
