ACHY ACHY RIBS
For the last 6 days I have not felt very good. Every night by the time I get home my stomach muscles are achy and sore. I think my stomach might have really grown a lot last week I feel like since I hit week 20 things have changed again. I was finally getting to the stage where things were working well, I had figured out my gluten free diet and I was feeling pretty good. Then over three weeks ago I got a cold. Since that time I have continued to have a mild cough and now my ribs on the right are incredibly sore. It hurts when I take a deep breath, sneeze or cough. I don't write this to complain I am acutally wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. If so do you have any suggestions? I would appreciate all feedback whether we know each other or not.

hmmm... no idea. becasuse i've put on more than baby weight in plain and simple fat and my ribs don't hurt...
Sounds to me like it has a lot to do with how the baby is lying. Perhaps she is hovering towards your ribs instead of lower in your pelvis. Welcome to the random aches and pains of pregnancy!!
Hey Jules, I remember that my ribs and lower back used to hurt really bad too! There was a salon that was near my house and they did pre-natal massages. It was a water massage and you lay on a thing that feels like a water bed. This did really help. It was an Aveda Salon, so if they have any near you, it might be worth a try! But the pain is soooooo worth it! You are going to have so much fun being a Mom!
Talk to you soon,
Sara E.
Julie,
I have been in constant pain from month 4, same as you...it's also because everything is jammed to the side of your body so your uterus can grow....also, i have had a "cold" for months and months now, and Doc says it's becuase of all the mucus we produce when we are pregnant, and how everything is swollen with fluids...should go away after baby is born. For me that is 3 weeks away, thank HEAVENS! I know, it's miserable...I am with you! -Kellianne
